About us

Our Man in Norfolk is the brainchild of Nigel Tompkins, a well
known marketing communications and PR consultant in East
Anglia. Nigel and his wife Heather owned a second home in
Norfolk for many years before moving to Sheringham in North
Norfolk in 1998, so they have personal experience of the issues
associated with balancing precious leisure time with the care of
a second home.

Throughout the mid and late 1990’s Nigel worked with Adrian
Green at Tienda Limited, helping him to build a highly successful
project management business providing complete property fit-out
and maintenance services to some of the UK’s best known high
street retailers.

Adrian has joined Nigel and Heather, and their son Philip and
daughter-in-law Liz who are both key members of the business,
at Our Man in Norfolk to make specific expertise and regional
knowledge and contacts available to the many families who own
a second home in Norfolk.
